Hi I am never sure which region to select for Liverpool/Merseyside. As there is nothing in the list nearby.. how come? I know Liverpool falls under Grenada but not sure which would be the best region to select. Skelmersdale or West Kirkby maybe??

Anyone know?

Cheers

If there isn't a region that suits your local transmitter, you can easily create a new one in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Tuning\DVB-T, or use the 'United Kingdom / All Regions' option. Having a local region on speeds up the scan.

Thanks guys.. I wonder why there isn't one listed by default for Merseyside?? It seems a bit of an oversight considering all the crappy little towns with 500+ people that are listed. Can you tell me how to create one that suits my area? I don't know the frequencies for my area.. or do you mean I should just scan ALL and then add those found frequencies to a list for the future?
Will have a look at Winter Hill.. cheers!

PS.. I was looking at donating, as I have enjoyed using this program since late last year sometime. But What are the 2 donate options for? one is NZ only?? Also is there a custom amount option cheers

This link will show you a map of all the UK Freeview transmitters - double-click on a transmitter to see it's details including frequencies/channels.

You can create a tuning ini file by copying an existing one and changing to suit yourself but I can't see any point in that since it's the transmitter from which you get your strongest signal which is important, not your specific location.

It looks to me that your best transmitter will be Winter Hill...
