Reccomended Settings?

Hi,

Reading through the various threads, I'm a bit confused as to what settings I should be using. There seems to be a lot of different modes available in the settings!

I'm trying to achieve proper playback of in-progress recordings, and being able to timeshift in live TV would also be nice.

Both client and server are Windows 8.1 x64, and they're connected by 1Gb LAN.

My recordings folder and live TV buffer folder are both shared on the LAN already.

What options would you suggest?

The modes are for live tv. I suggest just using the defaults. If you use drive letters map the same drive letters on the clients or use Kodi's advancedsetttings.xml to remap them to a share.

If you still have troubles with in=progress recordings upload Kodi.log or provide the link from the Kodi log uploader.
