EPG only showing current broadcasts

I certainly haven't tried every single channel here, but none that I tried produced any more data after the first 20-30 seconds at most, and even that was just the descriptions from the ETT... the basic schedule data from EIT was complete in seconds. I'll have to try a few more stations...

It's odd that I even care, since even with descriptions and an odd station or two that might have more than 24 hours of data, the ATSC EPG will still be largely useless. I'm always curious about this stuff though...

I for one hope the DVB/ATSC EPG option never gets turned off. Here in Australia we consistently get 7+ days of data with descriptions. I only try to use an XMLTV EPG source to get additional information. I only have trouble with one station giving inconsistent data - Channel 44 Bris 31.

I'd never even consider it turning it off in DVB countries. The DVB EPG is great in most countries.

Johnsonx42 was only suggesting it for the US, where you typically only get a few hours of listings.

I am still not getting any program data for Channel 18.1 KCPT here in Kansas City. On my Vizio TV, the EPG for this channel is at least 2 days worth.

can you verify you get full epg data with tsreaderlite? or upload a 1-minute full-ts recording of that frequency.

I am getting full epg data with tsreaderlite, and on my Win7 box NextPVR has the same EPG data as tsreaderlite. On my Win10 box, it doesn't. On my Win10 box, the EPG on tsreaderlite is fine, but when I try updating the EPG in NextPVR, channel 18.1 says no program details...weird. All the settings seem the same. I have HDHomeRun set to "MediaPortal" on BDA compatibility mode.
