Help needed with final settings to record from Kodi (no additional hardware tuner)

Hi.

My setup is simple: Windows 7 Ultimate - KODI - nextpvi

I am trying to record live tv from kodi. I do not have any other tuner in my PC.

I set up kodi to enable PVR Service. I also set nextpvr which seems to be connecting to the IPTV (getting Channel-1 udp://224.100.0.1:9050)

Yet, when I click on LIVE TV in nextpvr I get a black screen (I'm not sure what channel-1 is)
And the record icon in Kodi (the one in the form of a CD) is grayed out.

Can someone pls help me record!

NextPVR is only intended to be used with a physical tuner or video capture device. It sounds like you dont' have one of these.

It can't be used for misc interent streams. (There is some limited support for IPTV source channels, but they have to be a very specific type of stream, which is almost certainly not what you're using)

It sounds like you'd be better of with some other Kodi backend, like the IPTV PVR addon.
