HP Media Smart 600 Remote

I have a HP media smart 600 running Windows 10. I have setup Nextpvr and it is working well. The HP comes with a remote to control MCE.

In the settings for NextPVR under Misc2 in the remote control section I have both the "Handle MCE Remote events" and the "Start NextPVR with MCE remote button" checked. The buttons for live tv, guide, etc. work fine but the green MCE button will not start NextPVR.

Can someone help me get the button to start NextPVR?

Unfortunately most manufactures dicked around with the start button code
Easiest way is to install something like
event ghost
hip
or my favourite irrssfrom media portal forum

All three are programs that will translate the received IR code into key strokes or similar to control programs when in focus or even bring programs back into focas ,So don't think of it as a program just to start npvr but rather I a program to improve the usability of your IR remote and making it a more appliance type setup that just works the way you want it.
