Second NPVR box cannot see recordings

I have setup a new, second NPVR box and pointed it to where my recordings are for my first NPVR box but the recordings do not show up. Is there a setting I am missing? Is the listing of existing recordings kept in a file on the original NPVR box?

You may have to play with permissions on the database file and/or the firewall ??? (It's a long time since I did this).

The two client entries are the IP address of the server so they can communicate and the name of teh share with the database file in it npvr.db so you have to setup a share on the server

To setup a NextPVR client machine, that accesses guide/livetv/recordings/etc from another NextPVR machine, you basically go to the Settings->Devices screen, and tick the 'act as client' tick box, and let it know your server's PC name, and a share name that can be used to access the server's npvr.db3 file.

ie, it's not a matter of pointing the recording directory to the same directoy as the other machine.
