Client Cannot Record

I noticed today that if I press ctrl-k on the client machine while watching LiveTV, I get the "Recording..." message but no recording file is created. Going further, I cannot schedule anything to be recorded from the client. Usually the TV Guide entry changes to red when it is to be recorded but now nothing happens. Everything works just fine on the server.

Logs are attached and the relevant section is at the beginning of NRecord.log.

Can you help?

Problem solved. Database sharing was the issue. Error was revealed in the client's NPVR.log.2 log. (Which I never thought to look at...ahem.)

Somehow during a recent Win10 update, permissions to the share for "Everyone" were changed from "Full Control" to "Read." Using Computer Management -> Shared Folders -> Shares, I double-clicked the NPVR share and corrected the share permissions back to "Full Control."

All is well...Case closed.
