Timeshift/Pausing Live TV with KODI

Hello,

I have been using NextPVR with Kodi for over a year now, and I have multiple PVR clients, with one PVR hub. My PVR Hub, also runs Kodi as one of the clients. Everything works great, except the problem that arises if I pause live TV in Kodi and wait longer than about 6 minutes, Kodi will jump back to live tv on that channel, and I will be unable to view any of the paused TV that had been recorded. I have had this problem running kodi/nextPVR on both Win7 and Win10. I am currently running win10 with the latest version of kodi (16.1) and NextPVR.

Is there something I need to do to rectify this situation?

I am going to piggyback on this request. I have the same configuration as the OP and the issue I have is with the video freezing after a pause. This happens on all of my different setups (1 x Windows 10 and 3 x FireTV). As the OP stated, outside of the timeshift functionality NextPVR works great.

Thoughts?
