some recordings stopping after very short period of time

Hi All

Wondering if anyone can help. I've searched around and did see a very old post about people having recordings stop short if they were back to back, but I'd imagine that would be fixed by now. The problem I'm having is that some of the recordings i have stop short. I have attached my log files if someone has some cycles to take a look.

here is a sample of the recording in question...(found in NRecord.log)

any ideas?

There isn't any known issues that would account for this. What was a specific name/time of a recording that had this problem?

The "The Odd Couple.S05E07.The Odd Candidate.ts" example you showed starting in your log snippet was started at 2016-06-12 21:58 and ends at 2016-06-12 22:32. Was this one of these recordings that stopped after a short time? According to the logs it ran for its expected duration. I can't tell if the device stopped delivering data mid way through though.

Yes. That is the recording and it happened on, and it happens on a number of other recordings. The recording started as expected, (I give a 2 minute pad before), but it stopped 32 seconds after the program start at 10pm.

I have some suspicion that it might be my HDhomerun that's having problems with the channel. I guess maybe I need to start putting together a list of the shows that I record and when exactly it happens to see if I find a pattern. Is there any log within NEXTPVR that can say it lost the channel signal?

No, not really. You could fire up the HDHR Config app while you've got one of these recordings that aren't growing, and check if it's still locked onto the signal, and sending data.
