Switch off "Newish" On Screen Controls

Yes. On the Settings->Misc2 screen, untick the 'show mouse controls during playback'.

Thanks Sub - That's the second thing I have missed in settings since the update, as they say in the advert here "Better go to Specsavers"

Is this just for playback or does it include the Program Guide?

You're probably referring to the 'show keyboard tips in TV Guide', which is near the top of Settings->Misc2.
