I have a two tuner card. I see lots of conflicts. When I try to resolve, I see only two shows. One with Don't Record next to it. The other with Cancel next to it.

I would assume the one with cancel is the one that will be recorded?

But why are these conflicts? To be a conflict should not I see 3 shows listed?

P.S. The channel listing for one of my tuners was not complete. I fixed that yesterday. Could it be the conflict was because the shows were scheduled before the turner was fixed? Do I need to reschedule all of my recordings? Or is there some other way to resolve the issue?

More info: I am seeing this in the regular recordings menu item.

When I use the plugin it is even more confusing. I see the Conflicts but when I try to resolve, it just gives me the option "No changes. Cancel my new recordings". Whatever that means.

No, the one with "Cancel" next to it is the one that will be canceled so that the other show not currently scheduled can be recorded. The one that says "Don't Record" means you are confirming that it won't attempt to record the show that is currently not scheduled because there's no tuner available.

the shows included in the conflict resolution window are the shows which could be canceled to allow the conflicting recording to take place. if canceling some other show won't fix the conflict, then that show won't be included in the list.

after fixing your channel list(s), update your EPG. That will cancel and reschedule all shows, resolving any conflicts that were due to the incorrect channel list(s).

what plugin are you talking about?

OK now I am really confused.

Except by the advise to update the EPG which eliminated a lot of the conflicts.

Now I am pretty much seeing the same results I did in the TV Recordings plugin.

When I click on Resolve the only option I get now is Don't Record and that appears on only one show. At the top of the screen it says "No tuner is available to record this show. Would you like to cancel this attempted recording or cancel the conflicting recording"? But only one show shows up. How am I supposed to know what it conflicts with?

All of my conflicts are on the same day the 22nd which is today. And they are all in the past.

9:00PM-9:30PM
9:30PM-10:00PM
10:00PM-11:00PM
8:00PM-8:30PM
8:30PM-9:00PM

It was 11:43PM then I gathered that information.

Why would it show past conflicts?

The plugin I mentioned is the one that came with NextPVR called TV Recordings. I do not see it on the plugin wiki page.
