Lock older threads

Newer members add on older threads that they think is a relevant issue/problem to their current issue. I did and got scolded by a senior member.

Maybe the admin could go in and lock all the older threads so newer members aren't ran off of this project.

If my memory serves me right there is an addon to VBullentin that allows a thread to auto lock after a predefined period of time.

I wasn't really scolding you I was curious why you thought the problem was the same. It would have made sense if you were having problems on HD channels which the topic was related to because there are some generic answers to that.

If I was going to scold you for would be about making a post about a technical problem without sending logs from both Kodi and NextPVR. There are lots of questions to a question, posting about SD isn't even clear enough For example your problem could have been about SD analog with SoftPVR being the bottleneck, but logs make it all so much easier to see what tuner is being used and how NextPVR and Kodi are reacting.

I don't see anything wrong with re-opening an old thread if it remains on-topic. Doing so rather than creating a new one keeps all the relevant info in the same place, and so easier to search and find.
