TV Guide not updating with Schedules Direct

Every two weeks or so, I have to manually update the TV guide by pressing "Update EPG" in settings. If I do not, series recordings will not happen. Is there a setting I can change so this is done automatically? I am using the paid version of schedules direct.

You need to make sure the Recording Service is running and not stopped, that you don't shutdown the server and make sure that your server is configured properly to wake from sleep. Martin

What EPG source are you using?
If you zip and attach your logs, we can see what happened last night when it attempted the overnight update.

I would suggest that you double check under Settings | Misc2 | EPG section | Auto Update EPG is checked.
