Good stuff. But how do I activate it. It doesn't show up in any of the drop downs in the Decoders section of NPVR. But I can see lots of LAV files if I just search the hard drive. Is there any way to point it to the right .exe or something ?

You just run the installer at https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters...taller.exe, and then they'll be listed in the Settings->Decoders screen.

If you've got LAV installed but not seeing it, then maybe you've only installed the 64bit versions. NextPVR is a 32bit app, so will only see 32bit decoders you've got installed. The LAV installer defaults to installing both 64 and 32 bit versions - you might have unticked 32 bit.

Thanks very much, I shall have a go at that - unless of course I change my mind (again) and have another go at installing Windows DVD Player thingy.
