Spoke to soon .. it was working. Then I configured blast and it stopped. Now all I get is channel 4. This is a hair puller (ugh).

When you get video from a set top box via coax, the video always comes across the coax on a specific physical channel, usually channel 2/3/4 depending on the set top box. When you set the channels up in NextPVR, you have to tell it what physical channel would be carrying the video. You do by clicking the 'Add' (or 'Import') channel button, and setting the 'Input Source' to 'Fixed-Channel' and selecting 2, 3 or 4. Since you said you're only getting channel 4, it sounds like that is the channel for you set top box, but your channels didn't have the 'Fixed-Channel' setting when you created them.

THANK YOU SO MUCH... I am back in business and all is working again.

I just knew I had to be overlooking something simple and sure enough.... the good part is that it got me looking at some of the HD capture cards and it looks like I'm going to be moving in that direction in the near future Smile
