Sometime I want to see what is on a specific channel without scrolling to the right with all the channels viewable on. (traditional guide)

Maybe a popup like the "Find Now" in the recurring options. The shows on are listed for that channel in the order they are on.

If I had to make a wish, I would add the ability to click on a channel from the guide in NPVR gui or even in the NEWA web guide to pull up only that guide data for that channel.

If there is already a way to do this, even if it is a special recurring rule that is disabled, someone please let me know. I've tried to do a manual, disabled, advanced rule to no avail. I don't understand the advanced rule options enough to get it to work. I thought about maybe a genres all rule but not sure how to write it or even if it would work.

I only have a couple channels that I would like to do this for so a disabled rule would work for me although all of them would be nice.

If you haven't broken it at least once, you're not doing it right.

Consider a channel group limited to the channel(s) you want.

I'm wondering if p37307 meant that clicking on a channel on the normal grid would produce a new dialog showing a vertical list of programs and times for that channel for the remainder of the current EPG.

I would love having that sort of feature.

NextPVR is primarily an application for remote users over a 10' UI but for the mousers out there, maybe making the right click channels group selection apply the UI too would be more intuitive. Really is selecting the group for the menu bar that difficult?

That is what I meant John.
I would prefer that but making a guide group works but is not my preference.

I don't know what the poll says on desktopers v Remote users.

But I use web based NEWA remotely primarily for managing my recordings even though my question mentioned desktop gui and I really would like that option in NEWA guide also.

It's not making a group is difficult, it's not, it is tedious to scroll through a single channel. left and right. It's really about best UI use.

Being someone who hasn't put a lot of time in ASPX or java, I don't know how hard it would be to make a channel linkable in MODERN NEWA going out to a new SingleChannelGuide.aspx page paginated with vertical listings or the same feature in the Desktop GUI.

I really hate switching from Modern to classic theme in settings to pull up Mobile http://library:8866/mobile/default.aspx#_EPG_SCREEN then click on a channel name to get to http://library:8866/mobile/default.aspx#_PROGRAM_SCREEN which has a single page vertical channel listing.

I do appreciate your guide group suggestion Martin.
