I apologize for posting what's probably a stupid problem and largely one of my own making. I have an HDHomeRun Connect. Everything was working well until recently. After a Windows 10 upgrade (I think that was the start) I started getting an error message... something about a filter not found? I had the bright idea that if I deleted the HDHomeRun devices I could have NextPVR find them again and maybe the problem would be solved. I've not been able to refind them, even after reinstalling NextPVR. The tuners are working okay; I can use them fine in the HDHomeRun app. I attach logs.

Do you have the SiliconDust software installed on this machine?

If you can go to the Settings->Devices screen, then zip and attach the logs, I'll check what was detected.

Here they are. I thought I had done this last night, but must have missed a step.

It looks like your SiliconDust drivers are not installed. The HDHomeRun app doesn't use these to talk to the device, which is why it's still functioning.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the SiliconDust software.

I did that, using Revo to get a complete uninstall. For good measure, I also uninstalled and reinstalled NPVR. No luck. Fresh logs attached, including one from FilterCheck. The latter finds the tuners, if that matters.

Yeah, those logs still show the same thing. Its like the drivers are saying the device is there, but it cant actually open them.

You'd probably have to ask SiliconDust for support on this one. They'd need to tell you why the BDA drivers are not working on your machine.

Here is the answer they gave me:
Quote:First thing to try is going into HDHomeRun Setup and making sure the tuners are set to the correct signal source, then go to the Advanced tab and click Repair, then OK. Reboot, wait a couple minutes for all services to start, then open NextPVR and try to set up again.

I think that I made some progress; I can see the tuners in the device list, and I scanned for channels. But nothing happens when I click on live TV. I'll attach new logs.

The filtercheck.log now looks like the device is installed.

Those logs you posted don't show your attempt to use live tv. Try using the device again, then zip and attach the complete set of logs.

I played around with decoders and got the video working. The only problem now is that the audio is coming out of my monitor speaker instead of my regular speakers.
