I was not aware of the situation at the time (until the system drive filled up), but apparently last week one day the drive that contains my Default recording directory "went away from Windows". What I discovered is that after that, NPVR apparently began saving all of the recordings directed to the Default folder in C:\Users\Public\Public Videos\. My C: drive is a SSD which is somewhat small, so after a few days, it ended up filling up. That's when I discovered the problem.
I do appreciate the fact that the NPVR Recording Service did continue to record programs for me. However, it would have been nice to have been notified of the problem (that the Default recording folder wasn't available). And I'd prefer if it would switch to using one of the other defined recording folders (maybe the one with the most space available?) rather than the C:\Users\Public\Public Videos\ folder.
Sorry, I can't include logs since they were long gone when I discovered the problem 4 days later.
