Media folders in web view

Got NPVR installed and streaming live TV via NEWA is working fine. What I cannot get to work is accessing the media folders through NEWA. I have set up media folders and can access them locally no problem, but how do I make them show up in the web view? Based on the documentation it should work, but maybe I misunderstood something?

I suspect that it is the NextPVR Recording Service that provides the web server for NEWA that is attempting to access the media folders. The service runs under the System user account and may not have permissions for the folder. You can change the user account for the service in Windows Manage Services or change the permissions on the folder.

Thanks for the reply. System user has full control over folder. I added full control permissions to everyone, then restarted the service. That way permissions should not be an issue. Nevertheless, there appears to be still no way to access the media folders through the web view.
I could simply pull the files via a network share, but that defeats the purpose of a web view and doesn't work for external access. Any further suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Are you using the Modern or Classic NEWA interface? Only the old classic interface has a facility for browsing folders. I'm not intending to add this for Modern.

I am using Modern, will try with Classic. Switched the UI and now all is well.
Mind me asking why not add it to modern? The main point of a media center is, as the name says, a central access point for all media.
My suggestion is to add this key part to the NEWA docs, they currently do not address the difference in interfaces. Now the docs make sense.
I am confident this issue is resolved.
