Youtube.tv considered IPTV, can I view/record via NPVR?

YouTube has a new offering in my area called YouTube.tv (not the YouTube site). Not quite sure of the difference between streaming and IPTV, I believe this is a streaming site, is it also considered IPTV?

Can I integrate this with NPVR to display schedule and record?

To be honest, I suspect not. I'm guessing their streams will be fairly tied down to viewing only through Google software. Unfortunately it's not available in NZ, so I cant look at the specifics of this service to check if it's possible to add support for.
