Good Day,

Failed recordings last night and returned error 406 failed to connect to my provider. I checked the file for detail on the channels and the correct user and pw has been entered. I have attached the log file as well. Manual recording is not an issue as that portion works fine. This recording error was on a scheduled recording of a couple of programs. I am wondering that if my PC goes to sleep would that prevent recordings? If so then I may have to buy a device to watch local channels and record them. Thanks for your help. Cheers

The IPTV urls are encrypted in the logs, but I can decrypt them if I need them. I just tried that url that failed, and your provider is still returning 406 for it, so I can't watch it in VLC (and NextPVR can't record it etc). ie, problem at your providers end.

NextPVR will ask Windows to make sure it's awake at recording time, so it should be fine. Windows should wake it just before the time it's due to record.

Thanks for the information sub. Are you looking at he the NRecord.log file? That is the one I was looking at after you gave me some insight. I did figure out that the failed recordings were all from the same channel feed namely, CBS San Diego. When I go to the live section to view that channel I get the "unable to find capture device" with a 406 error code as well. There are a few channel that came up that way so I looked through the entire database for similar channels (CBS) and found some from a Los Angeles feed and some from the East coast. All those seem to be working just fine. So I think I may have chosen a channel with no feed. I will set up a recording with another CBS feed and see if it works or fails. But I think it will work. Thanks for the direction assistance. cheers.

Yeah, it was nrecord.log.

Yes, it looks like that particular feed of the channel is non-functional from your IPTV provider.
