auto extend

I was watching the superbowl on Sunday and the auto extend function did not work. I am using schedules direct as my epg. I was wondering if there is a trick to ensuring its function. I have the box checked to enable auto extend but for some reason it didn't work. I attached my log. Thanks for any help

The Superbowl wasn't designated as sports so Schedules Direct would likely ignore it. EP028246580000 was the unique ID I think SD only works with SP*

It'll only extend the recording if Schedules Direct tells us the event is still going. In this case it'll extend the recording another two minutes, and repeat the process. If Schedules Direct do tell us to extend the recording, you get a log message saying "SchedulesDirect indicates sports event is still going. Extending end time for 2 minutes..." in the nrecord.log. I can't see those messages in your logs, so I can only assume Schedules Direct did not tell us to extend the recording.

Yep, good point - it would have been ignored unless it started with SP.

Actually I was mistaken on the id for the superbowl that was the post game show, I don't have the value for the superbowl.
