NextPVR stop recording early very often. It's been happening for 7 to 8 weeks. The latest example is American Ninja Warrior. The start time on log, ndigitalhost-27, is 2018-03-11 at 18:00. The end time is 2018-03-11 at 21:01. However, the recording only contains 1 hr and 20 minutes.

Appreciate any suggestion on debugging this problem

The logs show a complete recording with no erros It is possible the signal was interrupted. Also did you confirm the show didn't record to the end and that the timeline is off.

One way to check is to extract the timing file from in a command shell using

more < filename:Timing.Info > Timing.Info

and then zip upload it here.

Hello Martin,

Sorry for the late reply. I tried several experiments including uninstall and reinstall nextpvr, recording from different channels, changing the audio/video decoder. None of that seem to solve this problem. I attached a log and timing.info of 2 shows, Kevin can wait and DC Legends of Tomorrow. The log file says that both recorded to full duration of 30 minutes and 1 hour respectively. However both shows stopped at around 20 minutes. I watched the show and checked the size of the log file. They both stopped recording around 20 minutes. My computer is not sleeping. The signal strength of both channel is at 100.

Thanks for your help,

Kent
