Hi,

Just started using NPVR with a Capture card and have noticed that the {channel} blasts the <Number> field and not the <channel> field. Is this how it is meant to work - or a bug?
I have altered the <Number> so they list in a particular order through Plex. The following channel blasts correctly, but passes through channel 100, and not 504.

<Channel>
<Name>FOX FOOTY</Name>
<Number>100</Number>
<ServiceType>4121</ServiceType>
<tuning>
<type>HDPVR</type>
<locator>
<channel>504</channel>
<input>3</input>
<audio_input>HDMI Audio Input</audio_input>
<blaster_executable>E:\OneDrive\HTPC\WinLIRC\ChannelChanger.bat</blaster_executable>
<blaster_args>{channel}</blaster_args>
</locator>
</tuning>
<EPGSource>XMLTV</EPGSource>
<epg>
<source>XMLTV</source>
<file>T:\xmltv\tvguide.xml</file>
<mapping_id>Fox Footy</mapping_id>
<mapping_name>Fox Footy</mapping_name>
</epg>
</Channel>

It should be blasting the <channel> field, not <Number>. What capture device are you using?

I suspect most people just haven't changed their channel numbers from their original provider lineup, so have both numbers the same.

Try this patch. It should do the job.

Thanks - Yeah, Foxtel in AUS know how to order their channel numbers exactly how end users want to see them... Wink

I'll test later. I updated all my arg fields to the actual channel number as a work-around.
