I noticed that if I have two monitors and my configured "main display" is monitor #2, NextPVR will start on it ok, but it use the setting from monitor 1

2018-12-11 15:22:30.366 [DEBUG][1] Rendering for screen size: 1680x1050

If I change the NextPVR setting to use my "secondary" monitor

2018-12-11 15:26:42.662 [DEBUG][1] Rendering for screen size: 2560x1440 (seems to be adjust using the Font Scaling)

This is not intuitive, is this expected? .

Yes, there is a couple of oddities with this stuff, but it hasn't changed in a very long time and doesn't seem to cause any notable problems.

Ideally, for the sharpest text etc, you're best to have it renderer for the same resolution as the monitor you'll be running on. ie, if you'll be using it on the second monitor, choose the 'start on second monitor', then it'll use the resolution of that monitor. This is confused by fact it'll restore whatever window position you last had. This is confusing when you've got it set for 'start on second monitor' but positioned it on the first monitor.

Confusing...but it is what is...

Ok thanks. Perhaps if it said start on second monitor and not secondary monitor that would be less confusing.

I know you're joking, but I'll take a look at providing more options in NextPVR v5.

I think that's just plain greed - I can't afford even one monitor for my NPVR server - Rolleyes

My server is headless and still runs Vista without even a keyboard or mouse so that iks pretty frugal.
