G'day...well for a long time now everything was working so sweet but today (about 2 hours ago) I started receiving the old "Unable to communicate blah, blah" stuff. However, this time only my IPTV channels are effected. My local channels are fine so I have tried to find the area that would be the problem area and no luck. I have not upgraded to the latest version, I am using 4.2.3., but I don't think that is the problem since it has been working fine up to now. My log file is atached.

G'day sub...and no sir it does not. Like I said it onle effects my IPTV channels and nothing else. And before yo ask, yes my subscription is up to date with IPTV as I can login to their web and watch TV on those channels but unfortunately, they do not have my locals in Cali. I may have to just install the new version of NPVR and hope that fixes it but I would rather like to find out what the issue is before I do that. Thanks newayz...Cheers!

I can see where an error is captured at the crash, do you have anything more in the event viewer?

Code:

Can you restart the recording service, try again, then post another set of logs? There is some stuff that doesn't look quite right in those last logs, and I'm hoping a new set would be clearer.

Good day...so I ended up installing the newest 4.24 verrsion in hopes that there was something that got messed up during a power outage we experienced last week. Although NPVR was working flawlessly after the blackout, I was just erring on the possibility. So now that I have 4.24 installed I still have access to my locals in Cali but none of my UK or Canadian channels come on. In other words, the same issue exists. I am going to remap a few IPTV channels to SD hoping that SDmade some changes and it was on their side. I am now just trying to eliminate as many variables as I can. My latest log filesis attached also. Cheers!!

I tried your channel here, and I could see your IPTV provider is now rejecting http HEAD requests to check the stream type. The attached NShared.dll adds a work around for this.

It also looks like the driver for your 'Hauppauge WinTV 885 ATSC Tuner/Demod' device has shit itself. A reboot should fix that.

Fascinating. I mapped 5 UK channels all BBC One with an XML file eliminating SD's handshake andstill no joy. All I get is a black (read not blank) screen. BTW, this happened on 2 of my machines one which has the hauppauge and the other does not but they both died at the same time. Hopefully, the new NS file will fix that. I will get that installed and report back. The latest log is attached. Cheers!!

G'day sub...Well jumpin goobers that fixed the issue. So UNITY-X changed their HEAD method requests? Does this mean they also changed their GET requests because I always thought one worked with the other as they had to have the same responsess to each other. Bottom line is that I am grateful you were able to fix this and appreciate it.Now I just have to go back and map all those channels again!! whew what a chore.

SoI just thought of this, since my other box still has the original database and channels efore the upgrade to 4.24, can I just copy the database file and dump that into this box? I think I wil also need to export the channels as well yes? Thanks again, cheers!
