"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

I am pretty much a newb to GB-PVR so there could be something totally obvious that i am overlooking, but i get the error message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" whenever i click on the live tv button in GB-PVR. I have my capture card set up and the guide works and even records. What am i missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would guess you have something missing in the skin file. What skin are you using?

i am using the default blue skin so i might try reinstalling the program, but that would be a pain because of how long the guide takes to update. Whatever ill try to fix it. i just wonder if there is anything i could be forgetting?

Thank for saying that i was right. Now do you know any way to fix this particular problem?

Look in the gbpvr.exe.log file. It should have more detail about what caused the error. If you post that perhaps we can sort it out.

Try turning off "Use live preview Mode if possible" in the config. app., that sorted it for me with a Nova-T.
