Getting this trying to use Modern Web Server. Edge browser spews out some XML and does nothing. IE and Firefox usually show the guide and OCCASIONALLY start to play, but most times I just get the Streaming Failed message. Attached is the file that was in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\web\temp last time I tried. This was using Firefox locally (eg, 127.0.0.1:8866). NextPVR V4.2.4, Windows 10 V1903. Look like ffmpeg was throwing some errors, but meaningless to me.

You can try updating ffmpeg to see how it handles your IPTV stream or a better choice would be to try v5. It has some smarts and tries to send IPTV files without transcoding.

Thanks. I tried the NEWEST FFMPEG and it tried to work, but froze up so I put back the one that came with NPVR. I'll try V5. This is not a huge deal for me. I was going to try it while on vacation, but usually the WIFI is slow enough that it's not workable anyhow. I didn't say in my post (maybe obvious) but was trying to watch live TV. My FIOS box sends out 1080P 60, so that may have something to do with it.

Right sorry I forgot the HDPVR family does AAC (I use AC3) I watch HDPVR stuff ok in the browser here from v5 with now issue and the browser does have some low bitrate settings.

That reminds me about your post here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...post538466 Does the Colossus output mpeg audio?

Don't think so. In my experience, it's either AAC Stereo or AC3 5.1 channel, depending on the broadcast.

Ah, that was from Hauppauge Capture. One of may later posts has Mediainfo from both Capture and NPVR. The NPVR says listing says "AAC". I have no idea why they are diff.
