How to subscribe to thread

I can't believe I'm asking this question. I have like 1/2 dozen posts/threads that link at the bottom of the page, "unsubcribe to this thread"  meaning I'm subscribed. I choose "Subscribe and receive email notification of new replies" after I first create each post.  However when I goto User CP, manage subscriptions it reports I have none. And my email is correct but never get any post reply notifications so my responses are not prompt.  My vote is for Discord.

What am I missing?

Do you mean discourse? Even if sub was to change again and I can't imagine that, are you going going to pay for the software? https://www.discourse.org/pricing

I do know sub is working on the email issue.

I hate the CoreElec forum look and feel and I would vote against discourse so maybe you do mean discord.

Ok I remember the negative comments about Dircord now, but that is more chat service. I wouldn't want to join it.

I'm not sure why you're mentioning Discord. We've already moved to mybb, and it's been working pretty well. We're not moving to something else.

Email wasn't working reliably on the new site until yesterday. It should be good now though.

I just checked the maillogs for your email address, and sent a test message, and I can see your mail server is indicating it was successfully delivered. I can see other emails that have been successfully delivered to you address over the last 24 hours.

If you're not seeing it, check your spam folder - it may be heading there for some reason.

I was reading the forum about moving and just threw in my 2 cents. Just used it before and like being able to chat as well as post to threads and DM.

Well something changed after you looking at it, thanks, and perhaps myself re-establishing my email addy and adding another subscription to a new post. Since then I am getting notices starting today even though I've been subscribed to some for a week. Early this AM user cp, manage subscriptions was showing nothing. I just went to take another look and now there is a full list of posts (10). Got me...
