Recording jumbled

I saw that in the file but the logging is also a bit crazy.  Are you running the tuner in HDHR mode or ATSC mode, I remember sub had to revert HDHR mode back in 4.2.2 because of issues with recordings.  Not sure if http is fixed in v5 but it will need good throughput.

I don't know for sure. The tuners that show up in the devices list are HDHR, ATSC, and QAM (2 each) But I think I only scan channels with the HDHR tuners.

I working on deleting all traces of HDHR software on the PC and see if I can still configure the device with v5.

I worked out what was happening with this, and v5 handles it. ie, it'll prefer http access, but will fall back to udp/rtp for legacy devices (since they don't support http), and fixed a multi-record bug that v4 had.

Ok. I had uninstalled the HDHR software already so I'm committed to my method for now.

With no HDHR software the devices list shows 2 tuners for 1 HDHR device. Before I had 6. Seems less confusing to me. So, I scanned the channels and scheduled a recording of the game.

I'm watching the recording delayed while it's recording and so far it's flawless. Next, I will add the 2nd device and see if it still works.

Ok sounds like you are still testing the HDHR tuner you had problems with. I was suggesting the ATSC tuner might be better.

This problem I have been having with jumbled video in the recordings seems to be a signal quality issue with my antenna/amplifier and tuners. I finally observed live TV that was jumbled on the channel that was giving me trouble. Swapping HDHR devices allowed me to get some good recordings. It must be a little better than the other one for OTA.

I wasn't having any issues like this when I was testing with QAM. I may have to go back to QAM to get a reliable signal
If I had some way to export/import channels like v4 it would be a lot easier
