If I "Record Series" from a web browser session of NextPvr/TvGuide, then I want to cancel the series recording typically there is a "cancel this episode" button AND a "cancel this series" button. There is only a "cancel recording" button which is effectively the former. So it leaves a long list of unwanted series recordings remaining in the scheduler.  Just want to ensure this is known and on the fix list.  Thanks.

Yep, good point. I've changed this for the next build. You'll now get both buttons for recurring recordings in the next release.

In NextPVR cancel via the guide always removed just the one episode, I think delete all recurring is best left in scheduled recurring recordings. It is safer especially while there is no prompt to remove the recordings.

In the guide in the next release, if you click on a show that is scheduled to record (red in guide), and that recording was part of a recurring recording, you'll get the option of either action.

I understand I just think it is not clear what Cancel Recurring. I know that you have a Record Series button so Cancel Series seems more appropriate. More than anything I want a confirmation popup on this. Just the word Cancel with no thought might make me click this to close the dialog.

I would agree that Cancel Series (to match the Record Series) would make more sense to me.

Does Cancel Series also work for a series scheduled manually and not from the guide? I've found no way to do that.

Since they're not guide related shows, you won't seem them in the guide, so won't get that popup with the 'cancel series' button.

On the Scheduler page, change to the 'Recurring' list and you'll see all recurring recordings listed. You can hit the trashcan button to delete it (and all pending recordings associated with it).

That's exactly what I needed, sub! I tried your steps but when I clicked on the trashcan, the manual dialog popped up. Not knowing what it meant, I clicked save and returned to the Recurring screen. My initial selection was still in the list but when I again clicked the trashcan, the confirmation dialog popped up! The recurring entry disappeared after clicking yes to confirm. Then it dawned on me the the first time I clicked the trashcan, the recurring entry had shown Disabled. Lesson learned: One cannot cancel a recurring event that is disabled.

Many thanks, sub.
