Hi,

I've look through all the posts titles in this section of forum and did not find anything regarding my problem.

I'm new to NextPVR, I was using ArgusTV with MediaPortal before, now moving to Emby and NextPVR. Emby was using too much resources to record and I like NextPVR being seperated from Emby server and alos the fast that this software is dedicated to recording and scheduling. 

Enough about me, here is my problem. I seem to be unable to select "Record Season (NEW episodes)" in the Recording types of an item in "Scheduler". When I hit save and go back in it's back to "Record season (All Episodes)".

When I create a new schedule from the TV Guide and go to advanced and choose the Recording Type I want, that works. Then again if I try to modify it from the scheduler section, it does not work, it will stay at what I've choose in the advanced section.

If you are creating recordings through Scheduler those are manual recordings not based on the guide so there is really no concept of "New"

I'm not creating the recording through Scheduler. In all cases I was in the TV Guide.

Here how to reproduce.

1. Create a recurring recording in the TV Guide without going into Advanced. This will create a recurring schedule and the record type will be "Record season (All Episodes)"
2. Go into the Scheduler and change the Record Type to "Record Season (NEW episodes)" it will not save the change.

Same thing can be done, if you go into Advance and choose the "Record Season (NEW episodes)" and then go in the Scheduler to try and change this, it will not work.

I'm using the WebUI of NextPVR and not using anything from Emby to do this test.

Ok yes I know there are several issues with modifying recording types not just the New type. If you create the advanced recording via the guide as New, which is the typical use case it should work ok.
