Suggestions for the KODI Add-on

I will put on my Marvin the depressed robot voice and say there is a problem since sub things he thinks made this change for another users request, as I noted the usage is not defined. A potential would be if you created advanced rules based on a description when it is 8+ days it would fail when the description moves to the subtitle.

I vaguely remember worrying about this change, when I fixed something for another user, and I suspected it might break it for you.

Unfortunately there is some 'subtitle' isn't a thing in the DVB EPG, and it's guess-work if you can treat the description as a subtitle.

I'll have another look to see if we can come up with something.

I need to switch OTA local channels 8.1 and 8.2 (NBC - ABC news) to 46.1 (CBS News)  Win 10 Home Visx PCI Tuner.  I tried to chop the post padding by a minute for 8.x and chop off prepadding a minute for CBS.  It doesn't work.  Once I get a adquate channel on "watch" I can use the pop-up to switch channels.

One more try at scheduling and I still get this.
"No tuner available to record the requested show.  Would you like to cancel this attempted recording, or cancel the conflicting recordings?"

Cancel: NBC Nightly Newws with Tom Llamas
ABC World News Tonight with David Muir

My learning curve sucks, I couldn't spot the issue.

I'm unclear, systemically, how NextPVR is set up. Servicing Cable, TOA, and Internet media through the same spigot or separate handlers for each. I couldn't find anything close but felt obliged to parasitize this Kodi post that described similar problems. I used various search terms "channel switch between recordings" and chopped off the fruitless ones until I came to a blizzard called "channel switch."

Hi mvallevand,

i updated to NPVR 7.0.2 and now in Kodi PVR a nice looking EPG info is missing. I think it has something to do with the changed EPG behavior in 7.0.2. I attached a scrrenshot. The new recordings are missing the detail info in the recording view. The last 2 recording are after the update. Only the Recording is showing in the list, the episode info under the recording is missing. Perhaps this can be done with an update to the PVR Add-On.

All other thins seems to be working very fine. Using KODI Piers.

Great sub was able to map this function specific to German streams. If you notice any oddities let us know.
