First off let me say thank you for a very well developed application. I'm using it in a docker in unraid and it works great (once I tweaked the docker command line). 


The ability to add other users (besides just the admin login) would be helpful even if it was a single guest account. Also the ability to turn of the ability for that guest account to record shows with a single check box would be awesome.

I strongly second this wish. Would be very useful for me too (or at least the ability to watch content without the need to login, the login giving access to setup and recordings scheduling for example)

You should be able to click ... Remember Me ... on the ... Login Required ... panel ... After that, you should not be asked to login again using that browser software on that device.

All well and good ... but.. if you have an inquisitive grandson who happens to notice the settings tab, it could get ugly quite fast!  Having a "guest" mode, without the ability to access "settings", would be a great idea, IMO!

Without real multi-user with multi user resume this has limited value I'd hate the guests resetting my resume points. Depending on your guests do you really want them scheduling? Also you'd have to lock down Kodi, and all the other clients too so it isn't trivial. I'd say use jellyfin or Emby if you want web user control for playback for guest.

A forced password on settings might be a good idea when it isn't the "password" but then I have always been of the opinion that only settings needed a password and the playback screen should be left open when it is the default.
