No guide info after 5.4 upgrade

Just upgraded to 5.4. Everything appeared to be successful except that the guide was empty. I updated the guide which appeared to get info from Schedules Direct but the guide is still empty.

Also just noticed that when I go to Settings nothing is displayed except the menu items, and clicking them does nothing.

Did you try ctrl-f5 in the browser?
