OSMC kodi and Nextpvr

i have a question about playing live tv channels.my Nextpvr loads perfect on osmc with kodi(RPi3).but my wife always turn the tv off with out clicking stop. so next time i turn the tv the screen is frozen and have to restart RPi3 to adquire the list again.There is anything i can do to make the live tv channels stop when the tv is turned off?

This is not in the addons control and I will end up sending you to the OSMC forum, but duplicate the problem and send the debug logs as explained here https://osmc.tv/wiki/general/how-to-subm...t-request/ and sending them the the OSMC pastebin and I will look at what might be there.

This is definitely an OSMC thing, and I think you can do what you want if you turn on HDMI-CEC (depending on your TV manufacturer it might be called something else) on your TV and OSMC.  I checked quickly and couldn't find any good posts (or even instructions) on this, but here's the short version:

1- Turn on HDMI-CEC on your TV (sorry, no help from me there)
2- In OSMC, go to SETTINGS > SYSTEM > INPUTS
3- Select PERIPHERALS. This should bring up a select dialog with the CEC Adapter as one (maybe the only) option.
4- Select the CEC Adapter.
5- In the settings that come up, make sure ENABLED is true and then go down to the option that says WHEN THE TV IS SWITCHED OFF
6- For you STOP PLAYBACK might be the best option. Although you could also do QUIT. That would Quit Kodi, but on OSMC it starts right back up.

EDIT: I just tried this on my 7 year old Vizio TV, and it worked as expected (with a little tweaking).  I set everything up using the STOP PLAYBACK option, started playing LiveTV, and then turned off the TV.  When I turned the TV back on, I was back in the Kodi interface as if I had stopped playback.  The QUIT option takes a little more to get right. The first time I tried the TV would turn off and then come back on 20 seconds later. I figured out that the CEC settings in Kodi were set so that Kodi would try and switch the HDMI input at startup, which caused the TV to turn on.  Once I disabled that option turning off the TV quit Kodi, which OSMC then restarted. So when I came back, OSMC was back at the main menu.  Neat way to force Kodi to rotate the logs in nothing else.
