Hey Martin, I'd be happy to test out a version for kodi 18.7 on a raspberry Pi3 if you have a a build and a location I can download it from.

Sorry if you are using OSMC, CoreElec, or LibreElec you aren't using Kodi and you will have to wait for the distro to build it once sub releases the Leia update.

Also after sub releases the Matrix build the LE Millhouse builds often follow so that might be the best bet for testing.

Hi Martin
Which is the correct addon  from the ones above, to test in progress recordings with Liea 18.7 (32 bit) and NPVR v5 (I've got a bit confused)

I'll use it on the HTPC machine - blind testing, see if she notices  Wink
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

The reason for the confusion is I never built a 32 bit trial version. After the successful testing I submitted my changes to Kodi though and you need the https://jenkins.kodi.tv/blue/organizatio.../artifacts and get the i686 build.

As it turns out it is trivial to build this for OSMC, I can do it right on the RPi in a few minutes.  If you are still interested let me know and I can post the zip.  Alternatively I can give you the build steps and you can do it yourself.

Either way. A zip would be my first choice, as I've never built one but I'm game to try if it's easier on you.

Ok this is a zip for the RPi3 OSMC If later on you want it on your Vero we can try the build there since I don't have one.

The zip you provided loaded on both a raspberry Pi3 running LibreElec & kodi 18.7 as well as on a Vero4K+ running OSMC (version June 2020) with Kodi 18.7. I'll give you more feedback once I've run them both a while but both seem to be working as advertised.

That's good news. I'm truly surprised that all those environments use the same linked libraries especially the Vero4k being able to run a bit 32 bit file on a totally different CPU. If performance or features seem "off" I'd certainly recommended a compile on the Vero4k. Generating a "real" LE version isn't too hard if you need a zip
