Recording stops when computer used

But it was not about my computer going to sleep when it was recording - it has never done that

I know that wasn't what you were reporting, but it appeared that was happening in your log.

It seems strange that I am the only one who had this issue?

Nothing surprises me these days. It's not rare to see reports of problems that are mainly only affecting a single user. A lot of people never have their machine go to sleep, so that cuts down the number of people who might possible see the issue. It could then come down to things like a tuner being a little slower to start/stop than other devices, showing a timing issue within the application.
