NextPVR Recording Service doesn't install from Services

I originally had v.4 on a computer I'm refurbishing, and I did an uninstall on npvr. Unfortunately I forgot to exit the service from the system tray first. I was told it was successfully uninstalled, but after exiting and deleting all registry keys relating to nextpvr and nrecord (and rebooting), I still see the Recording Service in the service listing in task manager. How do I get rid of that?

Maybe kill nrecord.exe from the task manager, then run:

"c:\program files (x86)\npvr\nrecord.exe" UNINSTALL

then reboot, and delete the "c:\program files (x86)\npvr" directory.

If you only have the recording service as admin use

sc delete "NPVR Recording Service"
