Synology Blank Video no sound

Hi,

I am new to NextPVR and I have installed it using the stable image in Docker.

I have added my IPTV m3u form my provider that works fine in VLC and TvMosaic.

I am now trying to move it over to NextPVR.

Channels and gudie data have all worked correct. I can record video as well.

But my problem is when I playback any recordings or try and watch live tv all I get is a grey screen and not sound.

I have also attached the logs if that will help

My synology is a DS1515+ for referance.

Is there a permissions problem?

More likely a docker setup problem.  NextPVR will only see folders setup in the configuration https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/Install-Docker on the --volume line so  a line like

--volume actualpath:/videos would need to exist and /videos/Buffer would need to exist too (case specific)

On a NAS the actual path is recommended to be to the physical path to the disk and not to the share.

Additional configuration issues on a NAS could arise because the default instruction is to run as root which means it might be hard to remove the files not using NextPVR.

Good find, yes the directory for the buffer needed chmod setting via putty. All working perfect now Thanks!!
