I have configured GB-PVR on my PC and it works great! Today, I installed the MVP and have successfully used it to access recorded video on my PC. But, I was under the impression that I could access PVR from the MVP box and schedule/watch live tv from the TV vs. the PC.

Was I mistaken?

Help!

Well, I don''t see the PVR interface on the TV. I was just looking at the settings and saw the Media MVP Server module. I start that, but still nothing on the TV but the Hauppauge screen.

Did you stop the Hauppauge MediaMVP software?

One more quick thing, can you start the GBPVR Media MVP server as a service?

Yes, you can set the 'auto start MVP servers' setting in the config app to '1'. Also make sure your set the Hauppauge MediaMVP services to not start automatically.
