Hi,
since I've upgrated to 1.0.8, I got some problems:
I got my pictures and videos on a networkdrive, which is mounted on the PC running the gbpvr server. Bu I can't open directrories on the networkdrive via MVP and it's remotecontrol.
Acessing the files on the PC via PVRX2.exe works perfect.
Accessing files, which are local on the computer running the servers via the MVP works well too.
It did also work with GBPVR's last version.
Is there anykind of new timeout limit built in?
Any idea?

Did you change your permissions to allow pvrx2.exe the same rights as gbpvr.exe had?

If it's not permissions I think it might be related to using a drive letter and not the \\computername\sharename notation.

When I run shell programs as administrator my drive mappings are not the same as they are at the user level

Martin:
This helped. I put \\computername\sharename instead of the driveletter and it works.
Thx.

I have the same problem except I already have \\computername\sharename and I have already allowed pvrx2.exe the same rights as gbpvr.exe had on the GBPVR PC. What is next?

That's odd if I read correctly mvallevand said:

Have you tried a driveletter instead the UNC path as mvallevand suggested?

My suggestion is to use \\computername\sharename notation.

So what else do I need to check? I have an incorrect or missing setting somewhere. I just have no idea what to do other than revert to the previous GBPVR version.

I would try a few things like

- use \\ip\sharename if you are using TCP networking.

- check to make sure you are not actually using \\computername\sharename\pathname

- remove all security on the share host to see if it is really a permissions question.
