Horizontal Bars on Playback

I'm using NextPVR 5.0.9.201026 and have had good success in general.  Here in the last few weeks, I've noticed that some programs fail to play back successfully on my Firestick devices with Kodi 18.9 installed.  For some recordings, I see horizontal shifted bars across the display during playback.   See the image attached via zip(logs are attached too.)  This happens if I play back via the NextPVR client from Graeme B or if I attempt to play the file via an SMB share.   I have tried to update to Kodi 19 "Matrix", but that has not helped.  The strange part is that playback works fine if I use the webpage for playback.   Any ideas?

That is 100% a Kodi issue not related to NextPVR and I don't see any log. I would play around with the Kodi player playback options.

You signal strength readings are odd though

If you are using a booster I'd remove it. If you place a 100MB sample somewhere on the cloud that demonstrates the issue we can tell you if the file is ok or not.

One wild and unreliable idea ... Recordings are transcoded by NextPVR (using ffmpeg) before they are are sent to the web app and ffmpeg might be "fixing" the file.  The other players are receiving the file exactly as it was received by NextPVR from the broadcast source.

PS.  Graeme B tries to hide the fact that his parents were a bit off with their spelling by calling himself Sub.

Thank you for the feedback gents! I dug into the Kodi player settings and under the advanced menu I disabled both "MediaCodec" hardware acceleration options. Problem solved!
