With schedules direct it imported fine here. I can see all episodes of 'Today With Hoda & Jenna' in the database have a season/episode listed, and I can click in the guide and see it shown.

It looks fine until you record then S/E information doesn't get passed to the recording table.

Do you see the season/episode numbers when you click the show in the TV guide page of the web app? If so, I don’t need your xmltv file.

Yes, it shows season/episode number in the TV guide.

Once your change is released, will I need to delete/readd the scheduled recording?

Updating the EPG will be enough to reschedule any episodes of a recurring recording that are already scheduled to record.
