This is a very small point, however, I occasionally play some "old" games that seem to fiddle with resolution.  I've observed that the Nextpvr tray icon gets totally "fuzzy" after a while.  I can fix this by right click "exit" and then launching NPVRTray.exe again.  As I said, this is a small point and not worth too much effort, but thought I would at least mention it.  My other tray icons seem to be OK.

What version of Windows are you running?

Is the recording service running at the time, or stopped?

Can you grab a screenshot?

Windows 10, 1909, Build 18363.1316

I can't say for sure because it never occurred to me to check.  As far as I know, it was running, but I was not recording.

I hope it's attached, not used to the way this does attachments.

It's an old game called "Descent 3" that seems to do it.

Hmm, that's pretty weird.

The reason I asked about whether it was running or not, is I do remember an issue in the past where the icon couldn't repaint itself as often as required, while it was timing out trying to connect to the NextPVR backend that wasn't running.

I've seen this problem with other icons due to scaling. I have mine set to 125% because my old eyes cannot really see well at 100%, even on a 27" HD monitor. This is not a big deal, Sub. You probably have other things that need your attention. Just thought it an oddity because this time the NPVR icon is pretty much the only one that's getting fuzzy. The others seem OK. Just in case you run across something in your other work.

I'm pretty sure that DirectX is in use, here as well. Not really sure what that could do. Then there's the Nvida GeForce GTX 1050 as well, etc., etc. Usually, restarting windows explorer cleans it up, but some icons disappear when you do that, so I generally don't.

Sub, I lied. There ARE a couple of other icons that are trashed. They are normally "hidden" so I didn't notice. Interestingly, no icon on the desktop and no icon in the taskbar are affected; only tray icons. Anyhow, wanted to let you know that it's not just you.
