I want to migrate my HTPC from Windows/Mediaportal to Linux/XBMC but unfortunately recent distos are having a sad with my TV card (Nebula DigiTV). It worked a few years ago when I had a play with Mythbuntu, but now no luck and I'd rather replace it than burn more time messing around. Does anyone know of any good, currently available, linux compatible DVB-T tuners. PCI, PIC-E, USB are all fine, but USB may be advantageous if I decide to retire the PC in favour of a Raspberry Pi or similar latter on. I know there is a listing of adapters on LinuxTV, but there's no telling how up to date that is, or what's current and what's not, so hopefully you guys can help better.

Thanks for all the advice guys. It's looks like the PlayTV is the best option for easy plug 'n go setup.https://nox.tips/ https://xender.vip/

I personally use a HDHomerun, love the fact it doesn't need to be connected directly with a HTPC etc. Anywhere with network access and an aerial will do.

I've used a variety of cards over the last 15yrs and this has given me the fewest issues. Absolutely rock solid

I also use a HDHomerun and it's pretty cool.

I've read that the HDHomeRun has drivers for Windows that presents it as a BDA device? Does it support multi-record, as in using one tuner to record several channels from the one multiplex?

First I would consider trying LibreElec booting from a USB on your PC to see if it detects your card, it does have a lot of firmware packaged with it.
