Extra Events

In developing an Extra device for a Hauppauge device, I've come to find out that while there are events to signal the start and end of a recording, there are no such events for live TV.

Can these be added for invoking associated batch files?

That is how live tv works nothing to do with an extra. When the live TV lease isn't renewed it is cancelled after 15 seconds. When the tuner is needed for a recording or from a channel change from the same client that should generate an immediate stop on the tuner and a followup open.

There should be no impact on your extra other then the tuner showing in the logs longer than you'd like when it isn't renewed since in either case you should be getting a close. You need to control the extra through the extra itself and not system batch files.
