WinTV-UnoHD Tuner support

Hi i currently have a hauppauge NovaT Stick usb all works fine, i purchased another usb hauppauge usb stick WINTV-unoHD it appears in device mgr under libusb-win32 devices - different from other nova T stick.

Is this tuner compatible with NPVR ? anyone using this tuner ?

It should work. Do you have drivers installed for it, and it works in the Hauppauge WinTV software?

thanks for the prompt reply, a friend had a spare but no wintv code, i did the wintv install initial with drivers, appeared in device mgr, I looked for the drivers only but no luck he has Hauppauge HVR900H - and this i cant get drivers only , will this instead thanks again phillip

We need you zipped logs from the setting page. This post on the DVBViewer forum is very interesting https://www.dvbviewer.tv/forum/topic/649...93818_menu it seems different from other BDA devices.

The WinTV notes indicate "Fixed an issue where WinTV-UnoHD Capture plugin could not be registered" so you need the current driver too, if it is not a BDA issue.

Thanks Martin for linking these two threads, mine identical to the picture with label (i didnt peel mine off) and the device mgr picture

Sub this thread never got resolved. Do you have special support for it or would BDA drivers be required?

I just read that other thread. I'd never heard of this device.

It sounds like this device is not going to work with NextPVR. It's based on libusb-win32 rather than proper drivers. I can't understand why Hauppauge would have sold that device.

Thanks sub, I didn't think so, just wanted that info if other people searched the forum and found this old post. It might work with Linux.
