EPG only loads a days worth of the guide

Hello,

I am very new/not super technologically savvy. I've gotten NextPVR set up with Kodi, however I only get TV listings for 24 hours. I have it hooked up to antenna and am a very casual user. Is this normal? I have updated it and tried emptying it and reupdating, but it stays the same. Are there any free TV EPGs? I've seen a few for $5 a month, but I don't use it enough for that to be worth it.

That is normal some will have more and some less or none.  Typically we use Schedules Direct in North America and it is under $3 a month and well worth it.  There is a trial and you can see your for yourself

Yes it's normal in North America with listings from ATSC. NextPVR will be giving you all the listings they're transmitting. Unfortunately they're only required to transmit 6 hours of listings.

As mentioned, Schedules Direct is probably your best bet.

Yes. Just use Schedules Direct if you are in the US (or really anywhere that SD supports--but especially in the US). It is well worth it!
