How to access NextPVR remotely without Kodi?

hi, i setup nextpvr as my backend and it really works perfecty within the server pc, and through kodi+nextpvr addon inside the clients. using it typically to view ota stay feeds.

the trouble with this setup is, i need to have kodi in all the purchaser devicest brings up is the tv manual, and the stay move alternative doesnt work there in my ipad. what must be finished to access the content material from nextpvr using clients inside the community and in remote locations outdoor the network?

VLC streaming was in V4, in V5 it is native browser streaming. Some browsers have trouble with the redirect from http://yourmachinesip:8866 so you might need http://yourmachinesip:8866/index.html You will also need to enable remote streaming in Settings->Access and change the username, password and PIN for remote access.

You might be better off buying the Apple iOS client (not sure why you posted in the Android forum) since browser native streaming requires transcoding so it will put more load on your server. I sideload Kodi on my Apple TV and it is a very good client when you add a "real" remote.
